Research Profile
My research focuses on the nonlinear behavior of masonry and rocking structures subjected to seismic loading, with particular emphasis on residual load-bearing capacity, failure mechanisms, and the dynamics of complex structural systems.
My work combines classical structural mechanics modeling with numerical methods (VEM, OpenSees) and analytical approaches, complemented by practical experience in the diagnostic assessment of historic structures.
