Czakó Adolf Laboratory

Czakó Adolf Laboratory

The departmental laboratory, located on the first floor of the ÉL building, plays an important role in the work of the Department of Strength and Structural Engineering. In the Czakó Adolf laboratory, we make a number of experiments that establish our research results or confirm our assumptions. The lab is used for demonstration purposes in education and plays an important role in youth education by providing a place for the preparation of student projects and TDK papers. We also use the lab's capacities to fulfill industrial orders.
In the lab we can break beams, columns, masonry, small-scale material tests are possible, there is a shaking table and equipment suitable for abrasion testing of rocks. Our lab is not set up for standardized measurements, but for solving special situations related to our research.
