Building Regulations for Organic Plot Structures

The geometry of a settlement’s plot network can vary widely, ranging from regular rectangular grids to irregular, organic structures. Building regulations have primarily been developed for rectangular plots, and their applicability to irregular networks is questionable.

The aim of this TDK project is to develop algorithmic regulatory principles that provide clear and objective guidelines for building regulations across any type of plot structure.
